Yes Mark, it was a very old coaching house where they had extended the kitchen into what used to be an old courtyard, the well was discovered after the old flags were lifted, the customer decided to make a feature of it. He had it re-cobbled, lights fitted and then a glass cover installed, nice talking point.

Angle grinder with a rubi csv blade, cuts any tile brilliantly without any chipping, but as above the cutting is the easy bit marking it out in the 1st place is where the real skill lays

iv managed to cut curves in porcelain with a 105mm ultra thin porcelain cutting blade lent to me think black diamond do them ? has anyone had sucess with dish shaped blades for cutting curves in tiles?

Angle grinder and snips, got to be the easiest way but as said before the talent is in the marking.

Never tried one myself but not really felt the need. I think someone has on here..

I agree that the cutting is the easiest part and its all down to the marking!....generally use a compass to mark my tiles but ive seen these profile gauges in screwfix.. not sure how they rate compared to the compass.. what do you guys use to get the curve shape?
I usually use cardboard or lino to make a template, transfer it onto the tile, cut it and then fettle it.
