Hi all, im finally fitting the downstairs cloakroom WC after having all the bits for 2 years! I've lost the instructions for mounting the corner basin

It has these brackets

am i right in thinking the basin just hangs on them on its two sides like this!?

surely not!? i cant see any other way of using the brackets and keeping the basin level!!

Just want to make sure as I need to mount it before I tile so I get the waste measurements correct

thanks

I haven't seen those brackets before but then I don't do much domestic work. I did have similar ones in my bathroom though and that's exactly how they fitted. Personally I'd tile first though and fit the basin after

Correct with the brackets. The bolts are for solid wall fixings. One on each side and the basin will only come off by lifting the basin, and your Silicon seal will prevent that.

Thanks for the conformation gents.

Coach bolts be ok direct in to the wooden stud I made for one of the sides that mates to the waste boxing in I made?

dave ... think like a plumber and do not use the brackets.. you do know a tube of Silicon works the same way
