...i see CTD sell sticky sheets that you stick to the back of mosaics sheets...are these any good...i need to cut sheets into strips of 2 and ive done it once before and it was a pain...are these good to use so that when your cutting the strips you get a better cut and easier to lay ?

theyre ok, but you need to make sure the tile adhesive holds the backing sheets and mosaics on the substrate so theyre properly fixed and the mosaics dont come loose.

BS5385 2.3 Mosaics.
Mosaics are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, in glazed and unglazed ceramic, glass and marble.
To facilitate ease of handling, mosaics are assembled as sheets, the individual tessera being glued either

are assembled by means of a backing material it should be made of synthetic fabric, not of cotton or paper.

critical factor is the contact of the adhesive over the backs of the tesserae;
