Has anyone installed or tiled onto an Aquadry raised wetroom system (from B&Q)? Customer has already bought the system and wants to install it on a concrete floor. I’ve found fitting instructions online but it says nothing about concrete floors. The picture of the system (link attached) shows 50mm tiles, but to be honest the picture on the B&Q website looks like the tiles have been drawn on! It looks like there is no fall to the trap!

This system can be cut. So is it made of a thick foam with a hollow middle for the waste?

I’m just constructing my quote, but as I have not seen this system I am not sure how easy or difficult it is to tile.

Cheers
Sean

So that's how you do a wet-room.....i've been wasting all that time forming a floor and putting the right amount of fall on it. When i should have just tiled the floor Flat and stuck something on top to stop the water..... genius! How do B & Q get away with it?

Hi Sean, my mate has fitted one before, I'll give him a ring tomorrow if you can hang on a day
679 quid for a piece of polystrene?

just had a look :yikes: there is another pic you can see and it does show a fall to the drain but look at the warranty they put on this product a massive 12 months :yikes::yikes: and you defo need an enclosure around that step up or another drain put in to take the excess water away, or perhaps just throw your towels on the floor to soak up the water.
I would be wary to fitt that one im afraid to say:thumbsdown:

right sean, that kit comes with a sort of addy to stick it to the floor/level it. It does have a fall built in and comes with all the fittings for the drain and waste. Problem my mate had was the cutting of all the individual mosaics around the edges, of course the mosaics on the B&Q page fit perfectly.
You can buy similar apparently for a lot cheaper on the net
