Morning all,

Basically, timber joists, heated in between, customer been advised to use Hardiebacker straight onto joists with Ditra on top.

My question is, has anyone done this? I’m thinking the HBB would suck the adhesive dry quicker? Should the board be primed?

Thanks in advance,

Why you asking the same question . Also adhesive on Hardie will behave the same wether it has tile or ditra on top to a degree .
