Adhesives and grout of choice

Been in the tiling game for 18 years but looking to see what adhesives and grouts everyone is using.

I’ve heard Weber are bringing a new grout out too which goes off a bit quicker than the pro stuff?

Tilemaster adhesives ( rapid, standard, semi rapid depending on the job) Mapei ultracolor grout

Mainly use Bal Grouts MM2 or Microflex.

Isomat adhesives and very little grout, so I don’t care, what ever matches the best. 🙂

Yes, rapid on floors , I believe @callatiler has recently used the new Weber grout.

Yes, rapid on floors , I believe @callatiler has recently used the new Weber grout.

You should try the new Weber grout Andy, like UCP but doesn’t slide off float, very consistent colour, good price and 200 Weber points per 5 kg bag!

What is this sand and cement you speak of . Here in Wiltshire we use water, lime and cow muck but just gone hi-tech its fibre reinforced because we be just added horse hair .

Tilemaster has some great stuff, not pricey either *new tiler*

Cow muck - we don’t bother with that up north!
We just have a few curries and it’s good to go.
