300x100 mm? cm? Ceramic? Porcelain? Wall? Floor?
I expect there are a few options if you care to expand on your question.

I've asked you so many questions...... To which you haven't answered to...... If you gave us a bit more info then we could advise you what adhesive you could use.
Are you actually a tiler.......?

OK, simple answer.
Best ready mix for grab is BAL white star, best cement based is kerakoll bio gel.

So not one of you can actually answer the question asked?

That came across as a bit arrogant. Maybe you should listen to what you're being asked.... I'm sure people could answer if you gave the whole picture. But I'm curious..... why are you asking? have you had a failure?

Hows this for a coincidence? I was recently asked (was actually on Wednesday) for an independent answer to a question from the service department of a local company. Apparently their customer purchased his products from them online back in April and didn't seek any advise on prep or what to use, so I presumed he had a tiler that knew what he was doing. But he didn't. Anyway, this chap from Cheshire, his tiler tried to put 300x100 tiles up with Bostik A100 Showerproof (D1), no spacers, onto plywood which he'd PVA'd the face with a 50/50 solution.

From the image i saw the adhesive had kind of stuck to the ply (say kind of, it would actually have been stuck to the PVA skin), but there was no back-buttering on the tile and they had slipped, so the customer was questioning why the adhesive hadn't set properly after only 18 hours. His tiler said the adhesive was faulty but I find that extremely unlikely.

But anyway, back to your initial question and lets start from the very beginning. What substrate is it that are you tiling onto?

You know it isn't going to be ply .

Then there shouldn't be a problem 🙂

Showerproof and string could be the way forward, lol

besides, based on one of his previous comments, surely not using spacers is lazy, not the other way round?

Why is when folk come onto a proffessional forum for advice seem to get narked when they don't get the answer they're looking for

Myself and another tiler did 5K mtrs of 300x100 for Winvic. We didn't use one spacer on the whole job.
It helps if you're doing brickbond because you can straighten any imperfections as you go by placing the next course against the previous then lifting 2 mm.
Laser the wall, work to that, do about 4-6 courses, move laser up to next section, adjust as needs be, repeat.

So to help the OP out, what adhesive did you use and what surface did you tile onto? Also what technique did you use to get the suction to prevent them slipping?

If you answer that, it might make him a little less grumpy 🙂

6mm notch onto new plasterboard using Johnsons 300x100 and Bal White Star I think, could have been any old stuff Walls and Floors supplies.
Comb horizontal, place tile onto tile below, slight push and lift. We were doing 30 odd mtrs a day each, wouldn't have got anywhere near that with having to peg joints.

No spacers used on these brick slips.
