white
White is the lightest color and is achromatic (having no hue). It is the color of snow, chalk, and milk, and is the opposite of black. White objects fully reflect and scatter all the visible wavelengths of light. White on television and computer screens is created by a mixture of red, blue, and green light. The color white can be given with white pigments, especially titanium dioxide.
We have our bathroom renovated and contracted an experienced tiler to do the tiling job. We removed 2 of the tiles after more than 48 hours as they had misaligned corners. We noticed there seem to be limited area were the tile BAL ready mixed adhesive has actually bonded to the green...
Hi all
I'm new to tiling and am looking to start learning from working on my own projects. Am hoping to go for a similar effect to the attached image wall tiles on my own bathroom. These are Rectified white gloss ceramic 300 x 600. Running floor to ceiling for all but one feature wall.

I have tried to clean my stone floor with lithofin multi purpose cleaner and it has left a white residue that I can't remove. Does anyone know what it can be and how I can resolve the problem. This is the second time I’ve cleaned the floor and this didn't happen the first time 🤷♀️
We've seen a lot of comments online about grouting dark / black grout onto white bevel edge tiles - the leaching, the stains, the headache....this is totally a product push but watch the video Shaun shows how easy it is to overcome.
Top grout and we swear by it. Happy to do local demos with...
Hi,
We recently discovered some red Minton Hollins tiles in our hallway and we’d love to restore them. Some of the tiles have white cloudy marks on them, we have tried wiping these away with water and a very gentle cleanser but with no luck! Is there anything we can do to treat these?
Thank you!
I'm looking for some advice. About five years ago I had porcelain paving tiles laid on my patio and the installer used white porcelain grout. It is now starting to show gaps and I'm looking for some advice on the best rated white easy grout for exterior porcelain tiles to refurbish or should I...
Hi, just had a tiler put some white metro tiles with grey grout in our first house. We are a disappointed with the white sealant - see photos. We appreciate that it may be tricky to do dark grout and white sealant. Is this the best we can hope for? Should we not have picked grey grout?
I work in an architectural office and we completed an elementary school over the summer. We have an issue in the commercial kitchen where the black furan grout is fading to gray and white. The tile in question was a thickset application using products from a major US manufacturer. We thought...
About to replace an electric shower with a thermostatic and need to replace a couple of tiles where the old shower unit is. They are Matt White, 247mm x about 397mm. Any help with tracking some down would be hugely appreciated
Hello, we installed a brand new ceramic tile walk in shower about one year ago. I've been cleaning it with a special cleaner for ceramic tile and it does okay. I bought an electric scrubber to make the job easier, and for some reason, and I don't know if it's related, lately I can have the...
Hi folks.
Is anyone aware of a synthetic floor grout that will not absorb dirt and stain? I've tried various white products but every one gets dirty quickly spoiling the finish. I have even trailed other potential fillers with mixed results.
I'd be keen to hear your experiences. I now...
Hi guys, I have done a fair bit of DIY tiling but I'm unsure on the best way to go with these.
Should i space between as usual or fit them tight for a very narrow grout?
Also any recommendations on the grout to use? I'm trying to find the closest colour match to the tiles so it looks like a...
Hi,
We got our bathroom done just over a year ago. The tiler used mapei grout in river grey. I have noticed some of the grout lines turning white and when I try running it off I get stains on the cloth the same colour as the grout.
Does anyone have any advice?
