I am starting a large floor tomorrow in 1200 x 1200 tiles and am now thinking to myself should I be using one of these levelling systems kicking about. I have never used them and had no reason or desire to. I've always thought a decent tiler shouldn't need them..... But... A 1200 x 1200 tile...
Hi guys I wonder if anybody can tell me what's gone wrong. We have laid a load of 1200sq porcelain tiles using the retailers recommend adhesive. The ufh was fired up a week later and temp was raised a couple of degrees per day and every tile has lifted around the edges. They are still stuck firm...
Kinda gives you an idea just how big these tiles are. In my opinion the largest ones are a whole new trade that you would need to learn first. You would need training how to lift, turn and manoeuvre these things just to get them inside let alone into its final pre cut and prepared position.

hi all,
I wrote some time back about issues with ufh system, we managed to get this laid and poured a screed over to level the floor. The screed wasn’t perfectly level but there wasn’t a great deal of variance across the floor. We employed a tiler as opposed to DIY due to large format tiles...

Standard kit is the two 1.7Lm rails, carriage and pliers, all wrapped up in a padded bag.
The 1Lm rail is an optional extra.
There’s one more missing piece, however, it’s not even released...
