I've had my Sigma over 20 years..

For soft biscuit ( digestive) Rubi TR, for hard biscuit ( hob knob) Rubi TS, for any type of tile Sigma. 😀
Rubi tr gave it away (its that bad )
Rubi ts sat in the shed (superseded by sigma )
Rubi tx ( sold 700 and 900 to buy sigma 3c3m therefor rubi only half as good a sigma as I sold 2 rubi to by one sigma)

I am torn between the Rubi tx700n and sigma myself, I am upgrading from a Rubi would I be best sticking with a new one?

You don’t need a case for a sigma, I’ve got one and I don’t know where it is. After using a Sigma for a short while you’ll be kicking yourself for not having one all this time. Rubi’s have their place with small tiles and biscuits but they’re simply not a patch on a Sigma.

No. Does Chuck Norris come with a handbag? 😵

I do carry a lot of trade waste in the van so it will get a bit of a bashing if it’s not protected.
