Are any of you able to tell me what a M54 screed is? I've been asked to price for installing a 90mm M54 screed into cold rooms then tile them. I've never heard of one before, @Ajax123 would you know?
Any help appreciated.

have you any more details. i have never heard of a product called m54 screed but i wonder if m54 might prefer to a NBS clause. i can find out tomorrow but a bit more detail might help. for cold store floors there is often a screed underneath the insulation and concrete to protect the ground from permafrost issues. not heard it referred to as m54 though. standard sand cement is covered by nbs section m10 and calcium sulphate by m13 so maybe m54 refers to an application
