Went to start a bathroom today...
What a disaster.
1 new wall framed out in 4x2 cls & the other wall new plasterboard on existing studs
New wall out by 15mm across an 1800 level, joiners never bothered lining through the studs.

Plumber (allegedly) has butchered the new wall to fit his pipework instead of putting all in before the plasterboard went on, cut sheets about a meter up & never bothered to dwang the joins.
I have spent almost all day sorting out others work.
I'm not a multi trader but sometimes I feel like it.

you think lifes tough and then you bcome a tiler, when seving my apprenticeship i was always told to think about them that had to follow you and respect other tradesmen ,lot of bodgers about unforttunately

Ever heard the phrase " A good tiler will get over that " ... .. i got told that twice today.. 🙂

Trying to bend tiles round corners now Dave, surely you're not a tiler if you can't do that

Oh & there was a new door getting built on a 45 to open up the corner for the shower.
The joiners left the carpet in place & stuck the standards, checks & facings right on top.
Took me about 40mins to cut it all out as I found a Phone cable below it!!!
