finished early today as going to scotland tomorrow with my family
and about 12 friends, golf, white water rafting, fish and chips lots of beer
and card playing when kids asleep.

drove home to start putting roof box on car and fill with petrol.
went to fill up got half way to garage( 800 yards away ) and car stalled.
tried starting it and nothing!!!!!! sat there for 1 hour still nowt.
phoned AA(though what drinkings got to do with it i'm not sure).
anyway long to short engine kna........broke.

got towed home... wife says ok we will have to go in mine but we need roof bars (hyundai coupe) phoned around for bars :yikes::yikes:£265.00:yikes::yikes: was the cheapest.

went back on the net for car hire, saab estate 1.8t on a 58 plate £275.00
for 10 days. booked it collected it and will be driving it( if i can get the keys off the wife).

it is a great deal but could have done without the car breaking on me but hey ho dont think i was meant to be rich lol or have any money what so ever. Who knows i may win at cards?
