:wub: hi there.been using a 10" sq notched trowel for 450mm wall tiles,12mm depth.could i got away with less and can anyone tell me what notch and size you use for what background,size etc?im just running between a 6 and10" at moment.any sound advice would be appreciated.danke.:wub:

Requires a very long answer that one as there are loads of combinations of surfaces, tiles , backgrounds etc.
If you are useing a 12mm depth bed on the wall you will have to use cement adhesives with acrylic primers as tub gear only drys up to 4mm thick, which is a 6mm trowel at a 45 degree angle
