Hi

I am new to tiling and looking to start a 5m x 5m floor. I know I should be finding the centre and taking lines out from here but where is best to start as if I start from the middle and work my way out to the far wall I am not going to be able to reach over the tiles I have laid??

Sorry for what is probably a daft question but just trying to get the best job done possible.

Thanks in advance!

Simplest way...quarter your room, decide if full or half tile better on centre lines, dry lay tiles inc spacers to last full tile in far corner of room making sure your square to room, if your happy with dry lay, leave the tiles down, lift the last corner tile, spread adhesive and stick in position n your away 🙂

You need to look at how you enter the room and where the light comes from where furniture is located Eg kitchen units etc , centring a room is a good rule of thumb but is not always the best way to set a room out

Set it out and start at one end with the exit behind you
