when should slow set floor adhesive be used?

don't know what you mean by floor addy ? but slow set or es is great on stone kitchen splasbacks

dont usually use slow set but enjoyed using it on trav walls the other day!

I still use it on floors from time to time, especially if there's a lot of awkward cuts and I know I won't be grouting the same day.

i used it last week on a kitchen floor, there was a large island in the middle of the floor and the tiles had to mach up around it, using slow set allowed me to make adjustments before it set...

Depends on what & where your tiling.I like slow set for walls if I dont have to grout the same day. Rapid for floors if I think some muppet might walk over it when I leave site.
Slow set for conservertory floors in the summer. When we have one !

Use slow set for the majority of work. Find it holds large formats in place better without slumping. Only use rapid set when I really have to.

I use slow set on complete bathroom wall tiling projects and , fast set on all floors! If am tiling a shower cubicle i'll use fast set on walls as I know I'll be grouting same day !!

Which rapidset do you all use on walls? Hard to get one that'll stay on the trowel. Find that most slow sets will have tightened up on a wall in less than an hour anyway. Larsens being the exception :lol:

on big floors I prefer slow set, it means I can mix a huge bucket that keeps me going for ages
