I've never used one but I've always been curious about them and the Rubi one that is on offer in CTD at the moment keeps catching my eye every time I go in, is it worth investing in one?

once you have used one , you will wonder how you managed without it...especially on floors........

Dont expect that using a washboy will be a magic cure. You need to give it a little time to get used to it. The sponges take a little bedding in IMO. Give it time and like Dave says, you wil never go back. I rarely use it on walls unless they are big walls.

I use mine where ever I can fit it in (no smutty comments please!).

I'm glad you mentioned the walls as i can't get to grips with it,

i'd give it a go.
As already mentioned i think like most things it's patience.
