hi everybody,

im just trying to find out if there are any tools to mark cuts around toilets. i have used the TRADE multiscribe but have found that if it hits the edge of the triangle it throws it out massively. so i have now adopted the old pencil and paper method which is good. just wondered if any others are available

cheers H

It is best to remove them if at all possible, but if not then i just scribe the tile to fit..taking small amounts off at a time till it fits nice and neat......some peeps use paper templates or cardboard...but once you get the knack you can judge by eye within an inch or so and scribe to fit from there......

good luck......

the first is the trade multiscribe and that has a draw back of being a thick shape that can knock ur measuring out by an inch or so. but the second looks really good mate cheers

I agreed with all of this.

I'm with Dave. I take a couple of key measurements, draw by freehand and with "a nip" here and another "nip" there, you get a perfect fit.

Do it a couple of times and you'll never need a template marker again.

Just practice in your spare time.

I have used most methods in my career, here is one which tested me, had to use templates in cardboard for this one, more pipes than tiles...lol
