Don't mind me while I bump some old but popular threads to see if the topic is still active in some way. Wondering if either the original idea or original issue still exists. I've done this with quite a few threads, so don't be offended if this is just jargon these days and not applicable. But I thought there might be a small chance a small percentage of the small number of threads might just be slightly applicable and the thread could get a new lease of life.

Reply to this if you've read a bit and have something to say. 🙂

Errrrrrm...........?
The update at the start is an invalid link.
But what the heck......I'm in! Haha
Not sure what I'm in, but u only live once, right! 😀

Joking aside; we were going to setup a national tiling firm come lead-generation firm that charged the customers and then paid the tilers and suppliers and took a small cut. But negotiated deals with suppliers and whatnot.

But it was a massive aim. Basically setting up a shopless tile outlet with dozen or even hundreds of tilers, and I'm all about forums and things that are less stressful and time consuming so it never took off.

Hi Dan,
Do you have a list of tilers off here for all the different areas of the country. If so could you forward it please as l do some commercial work for a company, and if lm too busy to do it, it would be good to pass it on to someone local instead of saying no lm too busy. 🙂

I can think of 1000 companies that would love that list and would pay good money for it too.

But no, I'm afraid I don't give out my list of tilers to anybody no matter how much money they pay me.

Unfortunately, sometimes genuine, like in your instance I'm sure, the tilers perhaps miss out a little.

But that said, if you have a job going in a certain area, then post it in the jobs forum and let the tilers from that area contact you. 🙂 So nobody loses out then, right? 😉 😉
