Wanted to put a Rubi CPC 2 blade on one of my wet saws, was struggling as bore size is 22.2 mm. The bore size that fits is 30mm. A bit of an odd size, but love the cutter, it is an old Norton Clipper SMS202, it is a lovely little machine, very portable and can even be carried by the handle with a full tank of water.
Spoke to my local water jet company, who said they could cut the bore to size for me, took them minutes and only cost a few quid cash.
Anyway, got chatting and was amazed what they could do with their machines. The water is pushed through jets at speeds of up to 2000 mph, producing up to 60,000 psi. Will cut the most intricate shapes. Will cut through metals up to 150mm thick, titanium, armour plating and all types of natural stones and tiles. The possibilites are seemingly endless. They are currently on with an order from abroad to do 700 linear metres of cutting on some marble sets and skirtings for a hotel abroad.
Have a look at the website if interested..

Wow. Nice technology. Looks like you could do some damage if you pointed the hose in the wrong direction! It was good of them to sort you out so quickly. Did they use that big cutting machine thats on their website?

Yes, have done a bit of cutting for me before, the machines cost a fortune, but as it is such a specialised market then they can basically name their price !!
