I have replaced 5 terracotta tiles today, do I need to seal them befor I grout them?

If so what best to use?

Cheers

Check out LTP the forum sponsor they will have one for terracotta..and yes seal before grouting.

what are the others sealed with.. do you need to match ..?

Not sure the others were layd a while a go and they have had a patio door installed. Dont think the tiles are the same as the original ones. Well i'm off to buy some sealer.

Cheers

Why don't you offer to strip the whole floor and then seal the whole floor...missing a good ££££ opportunity here...get a better finish sealing the whole floor.

Is it an indoor/outdoor job?
Terracotta can be sealed using boiled linseed oil which darkens the colour.
A picture would have helped!
