Social housing work?

just wondering if anyone has had any experience of working on a social housing projects? Because I've seen a few jobs advertised and I just wanted to know what the pay/work is like?

Around 20 ms/q I think. Easy work, plain tiles no borders, if your quick you could make good money!

i done a site about 3 years ago 48 houses in total made good money but u got to be quick or it is not worth it.

There is a hell of a lot of work going on in central Manchester houses atm. Wifes mum had her kitchen and bathroom done a few weeks back, chatted to the lads and they were on about £9 per sqm.

I have down quite a lot of social housing tiling last year, i was getting £22sqm inc adhesive and grout. Got feed up with it when your slogging your guts out to earn good money, then your taxed at the end of the year to pay for the guy sitting on the settee watching his wide screen tv and watching you work....:furious3:
