hi all ive just laid my tiles in the bathroom, now im about to seal em with fila porcelain protector, an on back off tin it says leave it on for 12 hours then wipe off, but ive read different else were, like 10 to 15 mins, can anyone help me plz on how long ya do leave it on thanks

Hi Craig, fila is not a product I have used in the past so cant really comment on it apart from saying to follow the manufacturers instructions as stated. 12 hours seems a long time but different stone grades need different lengths of time for products to work.

LTP is only about 20 mins before you buff off.

As Dom says best to follow manufacturers instructions, Id put it on really thin though as polished porcelain doesnt absorb the sealer like other stone its only to fill the tiny pores. Make sure you have plenty of cloths to polish off the residue too as it takes a lot to get the excess off.

Good advice mate. I'm using LTP sealer next week, what cloths would you recommend using to buff off? is there a certain type that is better?
