Sealing on Plasterboard

hey people i just wanted to know what people would recommend using as a glue on Plasterboard when they are tiling, i have prepped the room that i am working on ready for tiling and iv seen some people just say use a PVA
would this be the best thing to use or would anyone recommend anything else

oooooh no sorry, not sure what i ment on that, think iv got it in my head cos loads of people have mentioned not to use it on other forums iv browsed
is the BAL acrilic primer a good one to use?

if it is new plasterboard it wont need priming anyway mate.

As above never ever use PVA for tiling purposes.
Get a dedicated primer like Bal bond, Mapei primer G or Weber pr360 or an SBR primer, there's plenty others out there that you can use.

Ash I would be checking what it states on the back of the bags of adhesive, Weber specify that new plasterboard must be primed with pr360..

really mate? ive never seen anybody state that when discussing this topic I suppose priming it wouldn't hurt with any adhesive then... or do some also state no primer can be used on new p.b?

What exactly is the question though??

a) do I need to prime, if so, with what?
b) what 'glue' do I use, as in adhesive?
