Hi everyone

I have honed and filled travertine tiles for the bathroom walls including shower. The guy in the tile store sold me Lithofin multi seal to go on them.

Can anybody confirm this is ok as I suspect they might need an impregnator first? But what do I know!

Thanks in advance people...

I would put a couple of coats of lithofin stainstop first then once dry apply the multiseal.

Hi and Welcome, i'd do as Enduro as said above. there's two choices of stainstop i prefer the water based "W" than the solvent based "Plus" one.

Hello and welcome..

Personally i would not advise a topical sealer over travertine.. this will make it more maintenance work in time to come.. A good Impregnator is all that is needed.. multiseal will also add a satin sheen finish to it.. and will wear off and need reapplying ..

Lithofin stainstop is all you need.. or any other good brand like LTP mattstone etc.
