I've grouted over a Tile Easy 30mm chrome trim and it's left faint swirls/scratches. I've never had a problem with chrome trims marking before, but this is the 1st time I've used this thicker type. I know I should have left the protective film on, but I took it off as some of the trims had scratches on, and didn't want to fit a damaged trim!!

Luckily it's just on one wall, so I'll need to protect the others prior to grouting.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what to do?

Cheers

Fein multimaster with the buffer head on it maybe?

Might need replacing to be honest mate.

Cheers guys. I tried Autosol on an off cut but didn't do anything. Will take a look at the jewelley cleaner

]yes have seen it before and yes have tried everything autosol included only fix is to remove and replace im guessing its DTA if not its cheap chrome and advice you source a better brand :mad2:

the circular scratches are small and is the surface of the aluminiun (machine finish ) before its chromed
