Quick question - broken tile mosaic for shower floor ok ???

Hi all

Just a quick question , I'm tiling a bathroom floor and wandered if it was ok to tile the shower section with a mosaic of broken ceramic tiles , because the tiles are too big and I need to create a gradient for the slope , so the water will go to the drain.
Will this ok and safe , or is this not advised and should I be using proper tile mosaics ?

I think our TJ may be pulling your leg a little!! 🙂
Please don't use use broken ceramic tiles, these will be razor sharp, so unless you have really bad varrucas and want them removing i'd use the proper mosaics!
