Hi joined so I could read up on types of manual cutters because Im fed up buying rubbish from the sheds. Here are my choices.

1. Sigma Diagonale 3b 63
2. RUBI TI 66S
3. MONTOLIT MASTERPIUMER 63

If you read this please reply with your preffered choice 1, 2 or 3 and if you feel like it your reasons why.

One thing which strikes me about all three is that none of them allow me to see the scoring wheel which is one feature of the old rubi ts that I liked. (but it doesnt do porcelain very well imho)

Hello and welcome.......

Has to be neither for me..

I prefer the Rubi tx700n..you can see the scoring wheel and breaks anything thrown at it. Apart from the obvious wetcut stuff.

:welcome:to the forum,

quite like the sigma but i am using the big clinker at the moment as i haven't bothered ordering a new wheel and pin(somehow snapped it????)

Hi, was going to buy the masterpiumer 63 but didn't like not being able to see the scoring wheel so opted for the rubi tr 600 s, plus you get a carry case with it, all for £192, bargain.

welcome to the forum, Disco. haven't tried any of the above. Like Dave I carry the tx700n for big porcelain

Masterpiuma for me. Not seeing the scoring wheel isn't really a problem once you get used to how the cutter works. Couldn't be without mine now!!

The Sigma every time, no problem seeing the wheel.
Had mine since 2001 and still going strong and only on the 4th wheel.
