Movember United Kingdom - About Movember Does anyone want to join me with this next month? I think quite a few footballers did it last year (Joey Barton springs to mind), I'm going to donate 1% of my gross income for November but I'll leave it up to you if/how you want to fundraise. As per the rules on the link, we'll post a clean shaven photo on Movember 1st then grow! A final snap shot on the 30th.

My brother took part last year but nobody gave him and money so he just spent the month looking like a prawn for nothing (he looked truly terrible). Iv been trying to convince him to joint me this year.

Theres about 10 of us from my local boozer doing it this year. we are putting all the money raised towards prostate cancer.
I will post my before & after photos on here but as you will see im not very "HAIRY" in the facial department for a 38 year old, cant let the dog lick me or it will come off!!! :8:

Had a shave this morning, oh dear Movembers going to be an itchy month.

Me, my brother and my cousin have decided to donate some money ourselves and just grow the worst facial hair possible but without registering or going down the sponsorship route. I will try to get some pics at the end of the month.

Last year my brother took part, he grew a chopper and half way through the month he trimmed it down to the Freddie mercury (it was horrid!). We turned up to a job together and the customer opened the door with a chopper that followed into his side burns, it was magnificent! We decided not to say anything as the week before my brother had mad a fool out of himself by complimenting a guy on his movember effort and the guy had had no idea what he was on about... Opps. So any way, we finish the job and the kitchen fitter goes in after us. I got a call from him in fits of laughter because the he had mentioned to the customer that we were brothers and that one of us was taking part in movember, to which the customer replied "Oh! they are brothers? I thought they were a couple." It turn out he was taking part as well.

I cant think why my brother took so much convincing to do it this year...

I've not even got a 5 o'clock shadow yet :lol: I think I'm more evolved than most (or pre pubescent :lol🙂

Im the same Bri but Im doing it with 2 guys, one is hairy and the other is a monkey in a man suit!

oh well,,, Mrs Doug says mines same stage as your's Bri, only mines got bits missing where I've slipped with razor!! (was having a shave in bath, dog came and nudged my otherwise unflinching arm):smilewinkgrin:

I've got bits missing coz they've never grown there!!!!! My mate is a man monkey and has a bigger tash now than I'll have at the end of the month! Can't complain, I save loads on razor blades :lol:

This is me 4 days in, i know the rules state it must only be a moustache but i had a 40th birthday party last nite & i have a wedding reception tonight so the goatees getting shaved tomorrow.

Doug, that's scary... really quite horrible... sorry.. :lol: but they do say that dog owners do end up looking like their dogs... :lol: there is a distinct similarity there...
