Hi Guys. I am laying a mat system of UFH and was wondering what is the best way to mark out the floor for tiling with the matting covering the floor. Also I have read you can tile straight onto the mat but this sounds a bit messy. If a SLC is recommended which is the best. I have a 9mm ply floor on top of floor boards and want to keep the height level to a minimum.

Mapei fibre plan is great for ufh over timber floors...but your choice of ply thickness does not meet BS..

😳Thanks Dave. What is Mapei fibre plan. Pity about the 9mm floor but it`s down now so I`ll have to hope it`s ok.

Do we have a supplier on the forum where I could order some of this?
