Hi Guys n Gals ,
Do we have a definitive list of laser squares anywhere? Like to do a comparison before I click to buy the Bosch GTL3.

Cheers

Rubbish all of them are apart from the gtl 3 when you get a bit of light you can't see the line I find them inaccurate as I had a gtl 2 and it moved slightly and was off the line stick to the 3,4,5 and a set square I would

I've got the GTL3 and I wouldn't be without it. You can struggle to see the line if you're in a bright room but for the majority of the time that isn't the case. It switches itself off after 15 minutes so once you're happy with you're setting out you'll need to ping some lines.

Been a 3 4 5 man since I started , but I don't do the big 300m²-400m² quarry tile these days , smaller stuff. Tried a GTL 3 a couple months ago while doing a job with another tiler i work with ocasionally. It was great for diving in and out of the hallway and into other rooms , thats what sold it too me tbh.
If I ever did a large job again I'd still use the 3 4 5 , never fails.

Cheers for the replies guys , GTL3 it is .

for years I've used the 3 4 5 method , but for the quickness you cant beat the laser square ,my mate as the gtl3 cant fault it on the small to med size jobs, did struggle seeing the line on a big job we've done , I went for the ptl ft 90 which i also cant fault ,had 2 cheap ones as well ,both worked spot on first 1 was a Stanley ,then I picked 1 up from lidl for less than tenner ,
