A good sticky adhesive with good primed walls should do it fine.

I use 'easy props' for holding boards onto ceilings, but they are a bit big for window reveals.... 🙂

ha i used one of them straight floor mops/duster that adjust on the pole it worked canny like would fit a canny few windows aswell!

You could just cut a couple of lengths of batten wood, but you shouldn't need to if you use decent adhesive, i never need to anyway.

I used to do the top first, then the sides (which help hold the top in situ) then the bottom, which keeps the joints all looking smooth. With a good adhesive I found no problems.

same as dan for me. if in doubt use a baton horizontal along the tiles then another vertical baton to hold the lot up

Most adhesives will work no problem if its properly troweled as it causes a vacume, its when you apply it to thick is when the adhesive peels away from itself resulting in the tiles falling off, best prop them up with a couple of battens an a lenght of wood, just to be on the safe side, especially if its above a sink or bath

i dont understand guys all the adhesives i use stick like sh*t to a blanket!!! one tip tho when tiling reveal always skim the back of tile for max grip!!

You could always mix some rapid up with boiling water and hold them up manually for 5 mins LOL

thanx guys! jus discovered a place that sells palace adhesive up here n it has excellent grab!!!! like s#[. to a blanket!!!
