In the south east of england we have hard water there fore high calcium content, does any one know how this affects adhesive and grout and is there any difference when using soft water regarding open times or residue problems ?

We have hard water here as well, the only problem i have come up against is a shower i tiled and the women had a limestone shower tray and with the hard water the calcium sticks to it and she cant clean it...she didn't take the advice from the plumber to fit a water softener to her system.
