Just used granfix grouts for the first time for one of my customers :

They have a nice selection of grout thats has a slight variation on the mapi grout i usually use:

Its just to awkward trying to explain to the customers the colours , they dont send colour sticks out like mapi.

"well that what they say " lol

Anyway the black grout with a silver glitter looks good on completion.

I used for the first time recently and it quite nice to use but don't leave the rapid on to long before it's cleaned off

By co-incidence I used Granfix black wall grout today. I found it very course and as WB says it goes off really quick. The end result was nice but it did take a lot of sweat to get there.

I much prefer Mapei or Ardex, even Bal at a push .

Sweating, I was dripping:wacky:

Seemed a bit course for 2mm joints as stated

I used to use it, the black is too course and the ivory had dried a patchy colour (luckly it was in my own house, dont like trying new products). I stick with BAL grouts, plus the selection board ive got works wonders with clients

Like you say that was granfix and I agree as I have used it , very course not enough glitter.
But i would recommend the mapei after trying it for some reason unknown to me it was easier to apply than the granfix a bit easier to clean to tell the truth ,just make sure you have sponges and clothes ,then throw away.

always use new buckets, sponges, clothes for grouting. it didn't discolour till it dried. If it was at a clients house I would of removed the grout and started again (im a bit anal)lol
