I have read somewhere that when installing the wetroom floor it is advisable to slope the floor to the tray to prevent overspray water running away in the bathroom, is this really necessary as I don't want to have the whole floor unlevel if I can help it.
Besides that it would be quite difficult to achieve as I am putting slc over the ufh heating mat.

SLC doesn't necessarily find "level". It would need to be virually like water in consitancy to do that. Most levelling compounds need to worked into position and then smoothed out.

Await responses from the likes of "wetdecs" and he will give more advise when he comes on.

Mapei fibre plan...6.7 ltrs of water per bag..will find it's level...no probs russ.......like a bowling green.....un-like other makes of latex SLC this one does level and not just a smoothing compound ....

As for the floor b/boy.......depends upon the lay out and if a screen is bieng used...

It will be a 900m/m former in one corner, a vanity unit/basin, roll top bath and w/c, the roll top bath needs a level floor alone, I don't like the idea of the whole floor sloping.

I don't slope the floor.....I use a tanking membrane on the whole floor area...rather than just the immediate wet area....

As long as it's not sloping towards the door ( lol lol ) it will be fine......

Dave, this Mapei fibre plan, is it really as good as you say it is?
