Ayup chaps, I posted a while back about Victorian floor tiles for the hall way at my house, well, financially it's gonna work out very costly, so we're looking at other options, it's an old Victorian house, we're decorating the walls black, and the mrs wants a feature floor, the only ones I seem to find are British ceramic tile which I won't use, or there is a lot of these fake faded paterns which I'm not into. Anyone got any suggestion? We want Strong colour like encaustic but not encaustic, and not mix match look. Not asking a lot ey!

like most things in life, if it's expensive and its something you want then save up for it.
Finding a cheaper option to get it do quicker will leave you disappointed, long run.
save up a bit longer, work a few weekends and get what you really want. 🙂

I spoke to that Martin mosaic place on the phone and the woman was Chinese, not sure if his tiles are!

Under £300 for geometric from CTD. for 6 Mts.
Mind you you have to design, cut and then fix them yourself.

Martin mosaics are top people to deal with. If your not confident in doing yor own geo send him your dimensions and they will bespoke cut your floor for you. Most of his stuff comes from France.

They do them on sheets but, they are paper faced I think, which is an issue imo as you can't see what's what until it's too late.

No paper faced mostly 4mm mesh sheets good quality

I'm sure I asked if they were paper faced and she said yes. I could be wrong as it was some time ago. The boarder was quite pricy I think but that seems to be always the case
