Be aware guys that this does work but is generally only for short periods so you'll need to reregister again. This is due to people selling your details on again in the future and anything you may apply for or give your details to in the future (such as a website etc).
Other than that though it does work.
However, while I've been off work I've had loads of fun with these cold callers, they've really cheared me up some days. Thinking of new ways to upset them or just picking up the phone and not speaking but listeneing to them trying to get you to say hello - fantastic.

I always leave mine to go to voice mail and pick them up later, unless it is a call I am expecting, but I still screen them!

My friend owns a garage(mechanic) and he keeps getting loads of nuisance calls,in the end he had enough.One company phoned again about setting up a website,he agreed for them to turn up at work and discuss their ideas.They travelled 30 miles spent an hour and a half telling him all the way things would work,they'd set up his site for a few hundred pounds and then charge something like £10 a month.He said great thanks for that and the woman replied 'Would you like to set it up now,he said' No thanks I had no intention of signing up I just wanted to know how much it cost.
Her jaw dropped and she started whinging 'I've had to do a 60 mile round trip and spent half a day with you and you weren't even interested!'
He just laughed and said 'You shouldn't keep ringing me up then,its your own stupid fault!
