one thing that needs changing is, when you scroll down sometimes the 'new post' stays at top of screen and sometimes it disappears and I only get 'tiling forum' plus a number in red

The new threads/posts etc don't seem to be in any order?

Ok so,
Number 1. Circled is the person who created thread and when it was created.
Number 2. Circled is the last person to post and when it was posted.
And if you look at post below Dan's (profiling tool)
You will see below the thread title that Magga posted
1 min after local tiler in thread above.
So its chronological.
The chronological times are below title, not above.
Number 3. Circled is the recent posts.
If you click that, you'll get second image.



So number 1. Circled is a new post you have not read, you know this because it's bold and underlined.
Number 2. Circled is a recent post you've read, because it's not bold and not underlined.
Number 3. Circled is the time and date of the last poster in that thread and when it was posted. And as you can see Wrighty posted the last one 20 mins ago in power clean.
And in the mitre's thread below, Magga posted 34 mins ago.
Again these are chronological.
Does that help mma?

Well I've checked your settings and you're definately in the arms so you should see any new posts come up.
Are you browsing forum via the new post button?

Well read that post above carefully mate, it is quite straight forward really. (The one with images) Took me a bit to get my head around it. Once I got Dan to underline all new posts that I hadn't read, it all became easier.

I absolutely don't want to annoy anyone here,BUT it's definitely a lot more complicated than it was before! The way it used to be was straight forward and self explanatory, now unless you get an induction you wouldn't have a clue of the order of things.
Now I don't want to be decapatated and I'm honestly saying this in the best interest of the forum and mean only well, but PLEASE either go back to how it was, easy and kool, or simplify how it is now. It's clearly not easy to browse for a fair amount of us as it is since the changes have been made!

I've been prompted to speak up and I have.

I'm now away to sleep in a bomb shelter 🙁
