I totally agree diamond. I think gooner sent the thread off topic referring to his dodgie double glazing doode. Which is far enough he was just saying having a pro look dont always mean you have pro results. I was just trying to let DJ know I think looking the professional is important in my opinion. Saying I agree that going for the pro look is a good thing. Just Imagine if every fixer drove a clapped out peugeot 406 estate and wore Levi 501's with the arse ripped out and a 'welcome to jamaica' t shirt.

Call me if you like Jay. And yes I probably will be banging my gums but I will also be the same old Deano that takes every one on face value regardless of there exsperiance. If a fixer is honest then good for them. Don't like that then sorry.

p.s no offence to anyone intended I dont do bitching, and especially to any one who drives a peugeot 406 as I drove one until not to long ago.

Oh yeah, I know. But at the same time they may have finished a 4 week course & actually be a better tiler than someone who thinks he's got 20 good years experience.

Everyone's gotta start somewhere & let's face it, will anyone see your tools before they've actually hired you? nope

dont be to sure. I cant remember where I heard it but I once heard a story about a new tiler straight off a course who 'dirtyed' his tape measure to quote a job but only dirtyed the 1st 1.5m so when he extended it past there the shiny clean new tape was exposed and so was he as a fraud.

i cant comment on embroidered shirts, because i never have purchased them... but,
if you are skilled with a computer, vistaprint do t shirts for a fiver each!
you have to upload your design, then you can see you design on a shirt on thier website.

if you are happy click buy!

i use them all the time, and when they are worse for the wear, they make excellent polishing rags!
