Are we serious here, this sounds like serious fun! Eat a meal then bolt

Oh yeah baby, used to do it from taxis as well, always get a taxi from city centre and they don't know the area you live that well. Ask him to stop near an alley way or similar, look as if you're getting your wallet out and bolt!!!

And I'd be the first to kick up a stink if a customer refused to pay me now, but I had youth and naivety on my side then, oh and speed!!!

a taster from me about runner i did with my client..
about 18 years ago was doing marble tiling in switzerland and my client took me and my mate to a restaurant in geneva.
he was a top boy in goldman sachs and we had connections hence getting the job .
went in his aston martin in to geneva and he parked his motor outside the best restaurant in town.
we ate the best on offer and then the banker suggested we do a runner just for a laugh.
he had his aston right outside but he was sure the restaurant woulkd not have taken his plate no.
his banker mates had done this before and got way with it.
he was not even drinking , just gota kick out of it..
so we walked out and never heard a thing about about it.
crazy man as he could have lost his job if caught.
thats a tiler related story but i have some intersteing other ones

one of my mates tried doing a runner out of an indian restaurant via the window in the toilet, he was absolutely hammered and got wedged in the top opener,,,,waiter found him and explained to him that he'd already paid, (he was a "serial runner" so always had to pay for his meal first)
