Ditra on chipboard

I'm having a total blank here and the schluter website isn't very conclusive. Can ditra be fixed directly to 22mm deflection free chipboard?

I have done it once in an en-suite 3m x 0.8m, there was no deflection and that was about 5 years ago. Since been back to do more work at house and checked if there were any cracks etc. Solid as a rock.

Used same procedure, prime, 6mm notched and tile

Bri - you clearly are a conscientious guy - so why not call this number and ask? + 44 (0) 1530 813396. Course they probably all at home watching Sports Personality of the Year, but might be worth a try tomorrow.

Often wondered this to bri , if it could surely it would save time and money! What's your biggest fears of this method ?

The fleece not bonding to the substrate. I wondered if maybe a contact adhesive was a better way of adhering it. I'm going to get schluters opinion on the matter and see what they say.

If it's green chipboard bri they won't recommend anything mate! It's got to be a cement based board for me glued and screwed..!

I'll have to ask the developer the question, there's getting on for 60m2 so it'll bump the price up a treat adding HB to it. I'm not overly keen on the idea of fixing ditra to a wooden substrate anyway, it's not my idea of a proper job.
