I've had a fantastic day trying to rectify one of my bosses better balls-ups. He's swanned off on holiday and left me to re-grout a marble floor he did recently. Not his fault, of course, other trades must have been walking on it before if was sealed.... **yawn**
Well, not only have I scratched one of the tiles (only £150/m2 from fired earth(robbers)), but there's also a problem with the sealing, as footprints and drip marks have been sealed in. So.... Take a look at the sealer he's used.. FOR PORCELAIN TILES! Good start.
so, remove the sealer with wax-off, and hey presto footprints are gone. But, not the drip marks. Try again, waiting the full 15 minutes.... Nothing!

anyone got any ideas? I'm not sure what the drip marks are, but assuming the worst, they're probably the sealer impregnator.. :mad2:

Thanks for listening. If nothing else, it was good therapy hehe!

if it is sealer, try apply a bit more of the same sealer to buff it out. If it's something else then maybe some fullers earth may remove it.
