I am a DYI-er. (Built an airplane and engine, redid most of my former house in PA) did a tile backsplash for my daughter’s kitchen but it was small randomly sized squares and rectangles. I am currently doing my own backsplash but it is mostly large (24x12 inch) tiles. I need to mark the centers on these tiles but not for cutting and am not sure what to use that can be removed. The tile is rough not smooth finished and dark blues. Any suggestions?

Tried the wax pencil, it was really hard to get off. But discovered one of my granddaughter’s crayloa pipsqueak markers works perfectly and comes right off when I need it too!
Thanks for your help.
