A few months ago my CTD loyalty card was changed from a black card to a yellow card. The other month I checked my points balance online and discovered I had lost all points that were accumulated on my black card. By my records I should have about 4500 points (accumulated over 2 years).

I looked through the t&c's and it looks like you have to redeem your points 12 months after receiving them. CTD at branch level were unaware of this condition, but I did manage to get some of my points back by the manager at CTD going through his records then putting points back on my card.

So, it might be a wise thing for me to exchange points as soon as I reach 1000 points.
1000 points = £10

Who else uses this scheme?

Thanks, I've had a new cutter about 8 months ago, so if your right I'd best think about using the rest up. Think I have a couple of hundred pounds left

Points can only be exchanged for love2shop vouchers or to use in store.

Why you would want to buy a bucket or adhesive with earned vouchers is beyond me when you can spend them at all these places............

I cash mine in at Xmas , usually couple hundred pounds or so in vouchers

I don't use them all that often anymore, I have never cashed any points in though. Might be worth checking. Cheers for the heads up, nobody likes losing free stuff!
