Alright guys

Can you tile directly onto plasterboard, do you need to prime it first

Cheers

Yes no problems. Of course it would help if you told us what adhesive you were going to use and what tiles as that may dictate what adhesive you would need.
But easy answer is yeah i do it all the time.

it was just a general question always use bal so a sure there will be no probs, so you score the board with a stanley so it sticks better or not

NO dont score the board. i feel that would make the surface unsuitable as you are in effect destroying the plaster board.

a plasterboard will not require anything doing to it unless the addy recomends it,and never score a plasterboard as you will cause a weakness just make sure it is solid [screwed or nailed tightly]
