Biggest domestic estimate.

Hello peeps,

Just finished doing a estimate and before i give it to the customer, just want to know what you guys would price it at, details as follows,

Substrate - 45mm screed with ufh built in.

Tiles - 75 m2 800 x 800 polished porcelain (b&Q)

Labour to be done,

self level floor, lay matting (from wetdecs), lay tiles, seal.

Cheers guys

ps what cutter would you recommend that wont break the bank.

You've not said the meterage!
I'd add at least 20% straight away for the deep cleaning you'll likely have to do after installation and before sealing (see 1000's of B&Q polished porc threads....)
Seriously though - test a tile for staining and sealing before you commit to a price, they can be a nightmare.

I got it to £5050

Materials - £1200 (slc,adhesive,grout,sealer)
Matting - £550
Self level and lay matting - £300 (2days)
Tiling - £40 m2 - £3000

Is £40 reasonable for that size tile? as will need a lift to lay them.


What do you think? to dear, to cheap or reasonable?

I'd be very suprised if your customer will ;pay 5k flor a job using b+q tiles.
