Bifold doors in - I wouldn't be happy

I'd already levelled it - just over thickness of a tile to add on!

When they were measuring up is when they need to know finished floor height not after the door was made .

I told him it's coming up by 40mm + tile and he told me 'he only needs to measure for width but if it can be levelled before they fit as I suggested then that would be great.

I did have a hint of sarcasm in my reply, it didn't look quite as big a step in the first picture! I think your, very tidy, solution is better than PVC that would probably end up scratched and discoloured over time.

Customer's happy but then he wasn't really that bothered about the bifold install - it was me that was pi**ed!

Why couldn’t they have dropped the door down and put a filler at the top?

No reason John, it had all been fitted and the plasterers had gone in when I went back and I just think the owner didn't want any hassle and wasn't that bothered.
