Anyone ever used BAL Acousti-Bond?

Just a quick question, I have been asked to use this adhesive on a contract in conjunction with Regupol 4515, however when the costs hit my desk, and discovered that this has to be the most expensive adhesive in the history of construction, I am now questioning is it worth the expense?

I know there are alternatives to this adhesive but was wondering if anyone has any experience with these (noise reduction adhesives).
