Hi, no I'm not a shop...My wife and I have just finished re-furbishing the whole house and bought tiles for bathroom and lounge at the beginning and then decided not to use tiles downstairs as we couldn't get the underfloor heating we wanted. We have now gone for wooden floors. The shop took the tiles back with a 20% re-stocking fee and gave me a credit note for £3,100 but have no idea what to do with it. I was hoping that someone from here was about to take on a large tiling project and offer me some money for the credit note. It can be split up also...
Your best bet in that case is either as mentioned earlier buy buying addys, grout etc and resell them or maybe contact local tilers and see if they will buy it for a discount. Or try eBay?
It may not be transferable and anyone on here could possibly get a trade discount from the retail credit note they have given you.
Statutory rights would allow you to a refund if they have already taken 20% off you.
They seem to want it all ways £600+ for nothing and more business.
