Have a job to price using 600x900x20mm (azul valverde flamed)

Conservatory interior and exterior around conservatory, screed which is flat as a pancake will be around 3-4 weeks old by the time i tile it, they also have UFH, which is the best way to go here? Was thinking Durabase, is Bal Green screed suitable for this type of tile.

Just seeing how others would go about it.

Thank you good people.

Jamie.

I think weber adhesive is suitable for green screed which would be alot cheaper for you. I personally would try use ditra but cost will come into it.

I agree. Just finishing of a job, 180 m2 900x600x20 limestone on detra on wet heated screed using weber. Been doing that way for years, never had any problems

How deep is the screed? 4 weeks is not enough time imo. Is the screed sand and cement? anhydrite?

Yeah you are right, you can use Weber but you need to modify it with AD250 first to go onto a green screed.

I wasn't 100% sure and I didnt know you had to modify it so thanks stef

I have always thought that 1mm per day up to 40mm then 2 days per mm thereafter, I know this is not always practical.

I also understand Ditra and the like/ green screed adhesives can reduce this time, but the old 4 weeks drying time is risky.

I will stand to be corrected.

Ageee with you Phil its a little risky tiling after 4 weeks. Drying times are there for a reason so id always follow instructions to cover my butt because if anything went wrong its my pocket that gets hurt.
